Engage
We engage in three ways at Crossnet: UP, IN and OUT
UP: engaging with God: worship
Engaging with God happens in loads of different ways and on lots of different levels. What we are aiming for as a community is to learn to TRUST God with our whole lives, to love him with all our hearts, all our souls, and all our strength; this is worship. Our worship of God is a whole life pursuit: putting God at the centre of our lives, making Jesus Christ Lord of our lives and learning to love and obey him. We know that this is a process with forwards and backwards steps, but when we start to glimpse what this means, then life takes on a radical edge.
IN: engaging with each other
There are lots of ways of getting to know each other at Crossnet and keeping in touch: meeting up with friends for meals, drinks, chats, prayer, coming along on a Tuesday evening, getting into a huddle, getting on the mailing list and joining the Facebook group for keeping up to date, swapping prayer requests and general silliness - these are just some of the things we do. Feeling left out is rubbish so make sure you stay in whichever loop you want to.
OUT: engaging with our communities
It’s great to have good friends at church, but churches are meant to be open, welcoming, outward-looking and outward-moving. This is one of our central values at Crossnet and there’s lots about it on the website, so to find out more, just browse around.
